Terms & Conditions

This document constitutes a public offer (the "Offer") by Detectolic Games (hereinafter, the "Provider") to enter into a Service Agreement for access to the Detectolic Games online service on the terms set out in this Offer. Acceptance of these terms constitutes the user's agreement to enter into the Agreement.

1. General Provisions

1.1. By accepting this Offer and paying for the services, the legal entity or individual making the acceptance becomes the Client. Acceptance of this Offer is equivalent to signing an Agreement between the Provider and the Client on the terms set out in this document.

1.2. Acceptance of the Offer is deemed valid once the Client has completed the following actions:

• Registered on the Provider's website: https://www.detectolic.com

• Paid for the Provider's services using one of the specified payment methods.

 

2. Definitions

Detectolic Games — an online escape room accessed via a unique URL on the website https://detectolic.com.

Game session — a session of access to the online escape room, provided during a specific time slot agreed upon by the parties.

Scenario — a pre-prepared storyline revealed to the Client during the game session.

Rate — the established cost of services, as listed on the website in the booking system.

Game slot — the specific date and time selected by the Client for the game through the booking system.

Game operator — a representative of the Provider who runs the game.

Client's team — the group of participants taking part in the game together with the Client.

 

3. Subject of the Agreement

3.1. The Provider provides access to Detectolic Games online escape rooms, and the Client undertakes to pay for and accept these services.

3.2. The date of the game is agreed upon following registration and the booking of a specific date and time for the game session, arranged in advance by mutual agreement of the parties.

3.3. The maximum number of players is determined at the time of booking and is stated in the confirmation email.

3.4. The Client confirms that they have familiarized themselves with the functionality of the game and consents to the Provider potentially taking photographs and video recordings of the game for marketing purposes, as agreed between the parties.

 

4. Obligations of the Parties

The Provider undertakes to:

4.1. Provide access to the game (URL) at the specified time and by the method agreed with the Client.

4.2. Support the Client throughout the game session via the game operator.

4.3. The Provider is entitled to carry out technical maintenance of the platform and shall notify the Client of any possible disruptions.

The Client undertakes to:

4.4. Inform all participants of the game session of the contents of this Agreement.

4.5. Pay for the services by bank transfer using the details provided.

4.6. Ensure they have the equipment and internet access required to join the game session.

4.7. Maintain confidentiality and not share the link to the game with any third parties who are not taking part in the game session.

4.8. Notify the Provider immediately of any technical issues so that they can be resolved.

 

5. Payment for Services

5.1. The cost of services is determined by the rate selected by the Client, as listed on the website.

5.2. Payment for services may be made by bank transfer to the bank details provided.

5.3. Services are deemed to have been rendered once the certificates of completed work have been signed off.

 

6. Liability of the Parties

6.1. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation; where settlement proves impossible, they shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable legislation of Ukraine.

6.2. The Provider bears no liability for disruptions caused by technical issues on the Client's side or on the side of internet service providers.

6.3. The Client has the right to reschedule or cancel a booking no later than 48 hours before the start of the game session, by notifying the Provider via email.

6.4. Should the Client breach the terms of this Agreement, the Provider is entitled to discontinue the services without issuing a refund.

 

7. Confidentiality and Data Processing

7.1. The Provider guarantees the protection of the Client's personal data in accordance with the personal data protection legislation of Ukraine.

7.2. The Provider reserves the right to use anonymized statistical information for research purposes and to improve the service.

 

8. Copyright

8.1. All copyright in the games, online escape rooms, and products of Detectolic Games remains with the Provider. Disclosing or sharing links to game sessions with third parties, as well as video recording, photography, and screen recording by the Client, is prohibited (except where agreed by the parties).

 

9. Final Provisions

9.1. This Agreement enters into force upon acceptance and remains in effect until both parties have fulfilled their obligations.

9.2. The Provider reserves the right to make changes to this Agreement by publishing a new version on the website (https://www.detectolic.com).
