Project Avatar is Now Part of Detectolic Games
In 2026, Detectolic Games merged with Project Avatar — a well-known Ukrainian online team-building provider that had connected remote teams around the world since 2020. Below is a short history of the project and a list of our current formats and games.
About Project Avatar
Project Avatar was created by a team that had worked in corporate entertainment since 2014. In 2020, they launched their first online game, in which teams from different corners of the world controlled an "avatar" — a real actor who moved through a location in Lviv, following the players' instructions. Participants watched a live video feed and gave commands by voice.
The format was unlike anything else on the market, and it quickly got noticed. In under six months, the project earned several international awards from leading reviewers in the escape room industry and ranked 9th in a global ranking of the best online escape rooms.

What has changed?
Project Avatar stopped active operations after changes at the location where its key games were run, and in 2026 the domain, website, and the team's work were passed on to Detectolic Games.

What we offer instead
No we host virtual team buildings using different game mechanics — worth saying honestly upfront. But if you were looking for a way to bring a remote team together, we have two formats built for exactly that.
Detective Quests
Online quest in the form of a detective investigation: teams get access to a game website, search for evidence, and solve puzzles under the guidance of a host. Four ironic storylines to choose from, available both in Ukrainian and English.
From 10 to 150 participants / 60–120 min / UA or EN / 400+ repeat clients book this quest
Team Shuffle
A "remote amusement park": the team moves through several different game stations, with the lineup constantly reshuffled so everyone gets to talk to everyone. 30+ games to choose from, including quizzes, conversation games, icebreakers, and creative challenges.
From 10 to 50 participants / 60 or 90 min / UA or EN / 4–5 game stations to choose from
